Press contact only: Mary Hott -- 304-258-2300 Homeschoolers Art Class

Morgan Arts Council Provides Arts Based Community Grants As part of the Morgan Arts Council's second year of providing small
arts based community grants, Pam Mann was able to match a regional
grant and conduct a popular art class for Morgan County
homeschoolers. Artwork from that class will be displayed during the
upcoming youth art show at the Ice House. MAC's grants this year have
already been made to the Community Concert Band and the Ice House Co-
op among others. "We have grants pending to the Sleepy Creek
Childrens Choir, Senior Costuming and the Empty Bowls project," says
Mary Hott, MAC's Executive Director. "This has been a successful
project and if we receive funding from the West Virginia Commission on
the Arts, MAC will begin a third year of grants in July."
