AUDITIONS FOR ICE HOUSE PRODUCTION

BERKELEY SPRINGS, WV ---- The Morgan Arts Council is holding auditions for "Voices in the Woods," a family-based comedy set in rural West Virginia from 4-7pm on Monday and Tuesday December 15 and 16. Auditions are held at the Ice House and people may attend either one.

There are eight roles in the play: three adult females, four adult males including one non-speaking part, and one adolescent male. All are open to be cast.

Although casting will be done in December, rehearsals do not begin until January. The play is scheduled to open for two weekends of performances on March 13, 2009

Readings from the script are available at the Morgan County Public Library or online at www.macicehouse.org. A rehearsal schedule will be available at the auditions. For more information or to volunteer for technical or support work on this play, call 258-2300.

The Ice House Theater Project is a nearly decade old program that stages from three to five productions each year. The Ice House is located at Independence and Mercer in downtown Berkeley Springs.
